It's nearly June. And when I opened the door this morning, it was 40 degrees outside. We're not walking to church today.
Yesterday we visited the farmers market. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any fresh produce yet. I suppose the weather might have something to do with that.
There were a lot of blanket-wrapped vendors hawking homemade wares and baked goods. We saw magnetic bracelets, tamales, empanadas, blankets, tie-dyed onesies, jewelry, cupcakes, delicious-smelling fresh bread, and even Usborne books.
I love Usborne books. However, I'm not really sure I want to host a party, but the slightly pushy lady somehow got my my name and number from me when I was trying to walk away. She's good at not hearing the word "no". I'm thinking of not answering when she calls this week. Or maybe I'll block her number. Will it tell her that I've blocked her? I don't want to hurt her feelings. But I also don't want to answer the phone. Why didn't I give her a fake number?
It was cold so we didn't stay too long. After scoping out all of the booths, I bought this for fifty cents; and Tesla enjoyed the playground swings for a while before we headed back home.
On a completely unrelated note: yam chips!
Enjoy your Sunday.
that is my favorite kind of bracelet ever. I love it. man, it is COLD there. Colder here and in Phx, too, than usual. Global warming? Please.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are 90 today. Go figure! So sorry it was so cold, especially after you enjoyed such lovely temps here. Don't you and TEsla lose those great tans you got here!
