Four Things

that made my day today.

NUMBER 1:

Sobe Lifewater.

(Silas thinks "diet" versions of drinks are kind of gross.  I told him aspartame isn't that bad once you get used to it.)   ;)

NUMBER 2:
(photo pilfered from allrecipes since i forgot to take one)
Homemade french bread.  Finally, after much trial and error and various recipes, I have managed to produce delicious, chewy french bread with a nice crust that also holds up well for sandwiches.  I'm really excited.

NUMBER 3:

(sorry for the "I'm a 14-year old on myspace" picture.  self-portraits are not my forte)

Tshirts that I found at Target for $8.  I foolishly optimistically bought a small, but I'll probably be returning the second shirt for a medium.  I kept the blue one because I really wanted to wear it.  Anyway, it fits me.  (Like a pair of spandex bike shorts).

NUMBER 4:

(photo from here because I don't take my camera to random restrooms)
Just wait.

I went to the building where Tesla has his doctor's appointments to pick up some paperwork.  While there, I had to use the restroom (which may or may not have had something to do with the 2 Sobe LifeWaters I had consumed) so I stopped inside an OB/GYN's office.

Little did I know what wondrous surprises were in store for me.

The toilet seat was heated.  Not like the creepy "someone else just did her business here" warmth of another bum, but like really heated.  It actually wasn't bad.

But it gets better.  It also had buttons on the keypad labeled "front" and "back", which I suppose come in handy when you need to give a clean catch urine sample.  The water was heated, too, according to the little screen.  Which I would appreciate, I think.  I'm not really that keen on getting sprayed with ice water in my nether regions.

It was one of those things that you see pictured alongside mini dog mansions and hand-painted singing garden ornaments when you're flipping through the SkyMall magazine, waiting for takeoff.

At the same time though, I couldn't help thinking, "What a snazzy toilet.  It lends so much class to my urination experience."

I think I'm switching OB/GYNs.  I'm done with cold toilet seats.

And here's a funny picture of T's chub face.
