Cloth Diapers

I finally got some!  (yesterday)

I like them a lot so far.  This morning was the first time in a while that Tesla has not woken up soaked in his own pee.

(it's a birthmark, not a wound)

I was going to go into a lengthy discourse about the different types of cloth diapers, why I chose the ones I did, how they work, etc.....but I'll spare you, my dear readers.  (All three of you.)

Happy Mother's Day.  Maybe you'll spend it enjoying this winning snack combination.

Or maybe you'd rather stick your head in the toilet.

  3. My memory of swirling my siblings cloth diapers in the toilet is what kept me using disposables. Oy vey.

  4. yeah i wasn't too keen on that! :) i bought a little sprayer that attaches to the toilet that you use to hose them off. it makes a messy job slightly less messy and i really appreciate it. but there is no getting around the fact that there will be messes and sometimes they will still get on your hands. bleh.

however, it is much cheaper! and they do seem to contain his leakage a bit better. :)

  5. I want to know what you think of the flip system vs gdiapers...I'm debating

  6. I haven't looked into the gdiapers, the flip is the only one i've used. i love it though. you can reuse the cover if it's not wet/dirty and just replace the insert, so you don't have to buy as many. i bought bumgenius microfiber inserts and they seem to work well.

are the gdiapers an all-in-one system or a cover/insert duo? and are you looking at one-size or different sizes?

  7. I would love to do cloth diapers...but I am too scared. When you get back, I will have to observe the process of cleaning them.
