things you don't care about tuesday

no "things that are awesome tuesday" post today, peeps.  i don't really have anything interesting to say but i need to post pictures for this, so...there you go.

want to see a really fascinating picture of the back of my head?

let's all celebrate the fact that ponytails are now an option.  even though i (again) got swindled into really short layers.

speaking of celebrating, i've really been in the mood to make funfetti cupcakes.

but when i examined my motivations more deeply, i realized that i only wanted to eat the batter, as the cupcakes themselves do not actually inspire much anticipation.

i loooooove cake batter.

did you know that the ends of my hair are a completely different color than the rest of it?

evidence:

are you seeing what i'm seeing?  red?  or am i just imagining it to convince myself i can pull off red hair?

i saw an advert for these when i was out with the boys today.

silas is going to bring me one.  we're not typically huge fast-food consumers but i'm such a sucker for gimmicks.  (remember the double down?  gag)

why else would i have watched every single episode of Man V. Food i could find?

want to see my guns?  prepare to be severely underwhelmed.

that is all i have to say today.

may your week be full of fun(fetti), and may you always think outside the bun.

  2. Maybe we (I, haha) should make funfetti cupcakes and let the boys decorate them. :)

  3. I got a dorito taco...it ended up being soggy which wasn't very appetizing.

Nice guns! You actually do look pretty darn muscular for a thin woman. When do we get to see your six pack????

  4. HAHA. 6 pack. you can see it as soon as it's actually visible...which considering the stretched out tummy skin i have, might be never. ;)

btw, you have really got me wanting to take dance classes!

  5. DO IT!!!!! I love all my classes! It's a lot different than a gym because someone else is in charge of pushing you...and it has been really good for me to have a time every single week that I have to go to dance, cuz I paid for it. I actually think you would like ballet, and be good at it.

  6. i've always wanted to do ballet!! (like every other girl...) the only thing i do at the gym right now is take classes because if i'm left to my own devices i basically just wander around (or don't go at all). so i'm a class person. i'll have to look around and see what's available. do they have adult beginner ballet classes? i don't want to be in a class with a bunch of 7 year olds who will laugh at me for not being able to touch my toes...
